Two features of AckAlerts.com result in the sending of critical messages: - Alarm Management: Data received from any system, application or device are examined to determine if a critical alarm condition exists. When an AckAlerts.com Alarm is fired, an Escalation Chain of notification continues to contact any combination of Users, Groups and Subscriptions, until the Alarm condition is addressed. - Web Messaging: A web-based console (think Help Desk or Emergency Notification), that allows Administrators to instantly send Messages to any combination of Users, Groups and Subscriptions--with a simple click of the Send button. AckAlerts.com is an Acknowledgement-based notification system. This simply means that every message sent will be monitored, and tracked, in real-time, to make certain it was received by the User. AckAlerts.com supports notification using the following technologies: - PUSH notifications to your smartphone, tablet or desktop - SMS text messages - Voice telephone calls - SMTP Email AckAlerts.com implements a unique feature named "One Touch Reply." This refers to the ability for users to acknowledge receipt of their message with a single click of the "Ack" button on their smartphone, tablet or desktop browser.
