About ACM@UCF - Association for Computing Machinery
The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Central Florida. Founded on the principles of computer engineering, computer science, and information technology, our mission is to provide resources that advance computing as both a science and a profession while fostering the growth of students with aligned goals. ACM empowers students to develop a diverse skill set, preparing them for future careers by supporting their technical, leadership, and soft skills growth. We achieve this by hosting workshops, delegating projects, and engaging in community service. Our commitment to expanding the computing field ensures that ACM remains an accessible platform for all students, both within and beyond the college environment. With industry support, we provide students with opportunities to explore various engineering career paths and encourage them to pursue professional goals aligned with ACM's mission
