About Action Collection Agencies
Action Collection Agency of Boston ("ACA") was founded in Boston in 1967. Since then, it had established offices throughout eastern Massachusetts. Action Collection Agencies, Inc. was formed in 1991 by ACA’s President, Jay E. Gonsalves. Following an eleven-year career in the hospital industry, Jay was a senior executive at one of the largest healthcare collection agencies in Boston for eight years and holds a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. He is a past president of ACA International (formerly The American Collectors Association) and holds the International Fellowhip of Credit and Collection Executives (IFCCE) and Master Credit Executive (MCE) designations. Headquartered in Middleboro, MA, we are operational from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. ACA's stability and growth has been due, in part, to strategic marketing and acquisitions, but largely to the professionalism, dedication and experience of our employees. Our staff has a significantly greater-than-average length of service for our industry, and several have been with the company almost since its inception over fifty years ago – a highly unusual phenomenon in the collection industry which speaks directly to the work environment we have created. As a result, our client base has grown to include many of the larger, most prestigious medical facilities and physician networks, as well as small group practices and clinics. Many of our original and long-term clients are still with us today, enjoying the quality of service, appreciation, and respect that they have come to expect from our agency.
