About Action Events

TAKE PART. DRIVE CHANGE. ACTION Events is a series of forums for Canada’s transportation, mobility and energy stakeholders to convene, collaborate and actively solve barriers to the development and adoption of zero emission vehicles and new mobility technologies. The forums fulfil the need for national, cohesive, action-orientated dialogue that engage a broad cross-section of stakeholders, many of whom may be new to the sector or under-represented, that enable diverse contributions to problem identification and solutions. THE ACTION EVENTS APPROACH Events follow a structured process to drive action and empower participants to initiate change. At an initial Stakeholder Forum, attendees vote on and then refine specific problems to be addressed. Working Groups are subsequently convened to move the action pathways forward. Participants are encouraged to be catalysts for the implementation of solutions, thereby advancing progress to the adoption of new mobility and transportation solutions and promoting future economic growth and prosperity FOCUS AREAS Events are organized into “Tracks” to ensure that a diversity of themes are grouped appropriately and tackled in an ongoing basis. This enables participants and partners to channel their interests into their priority themes. The Tracks are: Track 1: Fleet EV Adoption Track 2: Consumer EV Adoption Track 3: Autonomy & Smart Cities BEING PART OF THE SOLUTION Meet and collaborate with industry peers — online and when possible in person — and bring your drive and determination to be part of the solution. By contributing your ideas, concerns and insights from your particular vantage point – as an industry professional with personal or organizational knowledge and resources – you’ll help shape the future.
