About Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA)
ACTSA is the successor organisation to the Anti-Apartheid Movement. We champion collective action and amplify voices in the fight against continuing injustices in Southern Africa - a region striving to throw off the legacies of apartheid and colonialism. In collaboration with regional civil society organisations, we campaign for human rights, equality and social and economic justice. We work with civil society partners to protect human rights, fortify movements for equality and democracy, create awareness of the causes of poverty and promote public education and research. We also facilitate South-South cooperation and solidarity between the UK and Southern Africa. ACTSA is not a funding agency; we do not have offices in Southern Africa.
