About Active Communities Experiences

Active Communities Experiences is a not for profit organisation dedicated to tackling inactivity, reducing anti-social behaviour and social isolation, and ultimately improving population health in lower socio-economic communities across Stockport and GM. We seek to utilise the power of sport and recreational experiences to effect lasting change on the communities we serve, developing community coaches and strong volunteer networks, We aim to help provide educational pathways and continuous opportunities for all ages, genders, and ethnicities. The success of previous experiences have enabled us to raise and donate thousands of pounds for national and local charities, and actively engage thousands of participants. We are constantly securing numerous partner organisations across sport, leisure, culture, and other key industries to work alongside us in forming a robust network of activities and opportunities that will reduce inactivity and contribute towards improved health and well-being.
