About Active Norfolk
Active Norfolk are the Active Partnership for Norfolk. We are one of a network of 43 Active Partnerships created and funded by Sport England. We are hosted by Norfolk County Council. Our role is to provide a strategic approach to the development of sport and physical activity in Norfolk. Simply put, our work aims to support the people of Norfolk to lead more healthy and active lifestyles. We work with different groups across the county ranging from statutory health bodies, local government, health and wellbeing groups, and also the education sector. Together, we are working to create more activity opportunities for everyone, and to build awareness and understanding of how physical activity and sport can be used to support the wellbeing of residents and communities. Together, we are working to achieve our ultimate goal of making physical activity available to all, and to get Norfolk moving.
