About Acton Academy Redding
A 21st Century learning environment where children take responsibility for their own education and find the motivation to find a calling and change the world. We are a learning center with four multi-age studios: Spark Studio: ages 5 years to 8 years Adventure Studio: ages 7 to 12 Discovery Studio: ages 11 to 15 Launchpad: ages 14 to 18 In these studios, young people create their own contracts to govern their self-driven community of learners, leading each other to mastery of core subjects and meaningful learning experiences through real-world projects. Our Socratic guides mentor learners in the studio to help them think critically and communicate clearly.
