About Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) is a professional network affiliated with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). The Association represents those physiotherapists who are interested in integrating Western Evidence Based Acupuncture into mainstream Physiotherapy for the management of pain and systemic conditions. Around 6000 physiotherapists who use acupuncture within clinical management in both the National Health Service (NHS) and private practice, are members of AACP. We represent our members with Law Makers, the Public, NHS and Private Health Insurers. The Association was founded over 30 years ago and has grown steadily to become the organisation that it is today, offering Acupuncture Foundation courses to Physiotherapists wanting to expand their skill-set and advance their career. We also provide CPD courses around the country, allowing delegates to further increase their understanding of the application of acupuncture in physiotherapy.
