About Adirondack Solutions, Now Part of StarRez

Adirondack Solutions, Inc. was created in 1998 as a joint effort between a seasoned housing professional and a computer applications developer. Randi Schweriner, MS, worked in housing at Cabrini College, Princeton University and Rutgers University before joining with David Kritz to establish Adirondack Solutions. David, an engineer, had a proven track record of developing efficient, user friendly software in both academic and corporate environments. When we founded Adirondack Solutions, Inc., we were determined to create a new model for college software providers. We formed an entrepreneurially driven firm owned and run by its partners. We hired only seasoned veterans with vast student services and computer expertise. After over 15 years, our vision remains to be a firm with the best-in-class capability, sector knowledge, and breadth of services which fully address the needs of our clients across the country and overseas. Although The Housing Director remains our flagship product, the list of applications we offer has expanded to include conduct management, conference organization, parking operations, and a broad range of student services self-service web applications. The senior-level attention that we provide our clients across this broad spectrum sets us apart from our competitors. Additionally, all software development and support is conducted in-house. We are extremely proud of the commitment and dedication that each Adirondack employee brings to every client and/or partner relationship that we forge. We work hard but play too, and we look forward to those occasions when we can get together with clients and partners in more social settings, such as our annual users conference, ASUG.
