Adopt-A-Family is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission is to strengthen families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services. Since our founding in 1983, Adopt-A-Family has served over 60,000 Palm Beach County households . Through four decades of service, Adopt-A-Family has focused on preventing and ending episodes of family homelessness through a range of programming including rapid re-housing, emergency shelter, supportive housing, eviction prevention, educational programs for children and youth, and wraparound services. Agency intervention provides the guidance families need to overcome barriers, cultivate a stable home environment, and achieve self-sufficiency.
