Brian Bonde is a nationally recognized expert in not-for-profit management and fundraising. He is an Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE), one of only 105 professionals worldwide to hold this distinguished designation from the 35,000 member Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). He has been involved in raising over $200 million for several organizations and has been recognized by Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) with the Showcase Award for Planned Giving and by AFP with the prestigious national Award for Excellence in Fundraising. He is a noted consultant and trainer to non-profits and has been in senior leadership positions for Sanford Health, LifeScape and Children's Care Foundation, and Augustana University. Brian is the past chair of the AFP United States Foundation for Philanthropy and has served on the AFP Global board of directors, and AFP Canada Foundation. He was appointed by the governor of South Dakota to the South Dakota Arts Council, and also serves on the board of Arts Midwest, South Dakota AFP, and recently founded and is past chair of Arts South Dakota. He has been on various non-profit boards for over 35 years.
