Advanced Eye Center, established by Dr. Susan Jong, is dedicated to providing the highest quality vision care to our patients. In addition to a relentless approach to expand on and exceed primary vision services such as vision exams, vision evaluations, treatment of eye disease and contact lenses, Advanced Eye Center uses the cutting edge in Eye Health and Eye Care Technology. If diagnosed early, many conditions can be successfully managed. Dr. Jong also specializes in Vision Therapy and Orthokeratology (reduction of nearsightedness). Vision Therapy (sometimes called Vision Training) is successful in treating both children and adults with learning-related vision problems, strabismus (crossed eyes),amblyopia (lazy eyes) and Computer Vision Syndrome. Vision therapy is that part of optometric care devoted to developing, improving and enhancing people’s visual performance. Vision therapy can benefit people of all ages, especially children who may be struggling with a vision-related learning problem. Optometrists have developed and used vision therapy for several decades to prevent vision problems from developing, help develop the visual skills needed for success in school, and more.
