At Advanced Kinetics, OUR MISSION is to provide patients with the highest quality of outpatient rehabilitation and prevention services guided by the core values of professionalism, integrity, honesty, respect, and courtesy, combined with creativity and innovation. We are dedicated to helping individuals reduce pain, improve function, prevent injury, and maximize physical performance. Advanced Kinetics Physical Therapy and Sports Performance (AKPT) was co-founded by Dr. Angela Gordon and Kwang Han in 2015. Together Dr. Gordon and Mr. Han have developed a one of a kind specialized Physical Therapy practice and have bridged the gap between rehab and fitness. Their mission is not only to reinvent physical therapy but also to establish injury prevention standards, educate the community and help patients and athletes of all ages. Dr. Gordon and Mr. Han together have over 19 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. They also have a combined 10 years of experience working with professional athletes, mainly the Washington Nationals baseball team. Dr. Gordon and Mr. Han have worked with athletes ranging from elementary through professional level in various sports both male and female. Both Dr. Gordon and Mr. Han are certified in functional trigger point dry needling and have multiple areas of speciality in orthopedics. They have a passion for making patients healthier and enjoy working not only with elite athletes but also with weekend warriors, post op patients, and patients suffering from chronic injury.
