Advanced Product Transitions (APT) Corporation, a small, veteran owned, business headquartered in McLean, VA provides training, consulting, and engineering services to Governments and Industry. APT offers training in MRL and TRL assessments, and support for AS6500 implementation. Our staff is highly experienced in program management, systems engineering, technology development and transition, manufacturing technology, manufacturing/production management, supply chain management, and lean enterprise techniques. The APT staff has pioneered many of the present day business management, technology development, and technology transition concepts in use today and has continued refinement and streamlining of these concepts in support of current DOD major acquisition programs and industry new product development. We have developed methodologies that have streamlined technology development, and transition to production, deployment and support. APT staff is experienced in the implementation of technology development and manufacturing maturity measures such as Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs). APT also developed Program Management Measures (PMMs), innovative and streamlined program maturity metrics, readily enabling accurate product risk assessments during development and transition to production.
