In 2003 John, Mike, and Caryn were all working in the sleep therapy industry. Frustrated with the new “cost-cutting” culture, they teamed up to create a new vision for sleep therapy — a company that was fiscally responsible without compromising patient care. From the beginning, AST worked directly with manufacturers to choose the best equipment on the market. Advanced Sleep Therapy Ltd. opened its doors February 2004 with only a tiny office and closet storage. Ten years and three offices later, AST now resides in a full office suite complete with patient fitting room, staff offices, team conference room and expansive storage facility. The referral base has grown from a few doctors to entire sleep labs and hospitals throughout Chicago and its suburbs! Even more remarkable, our values continue to remain the same — The clients come first! Today’s sleep therapy industry continues trending away from service and towards profit. Large corporations are buying many of the small durable medical equipment companies, leaving patients very few choices for service. AST has built a reputation for excellent customer service by earning respect and trust from physician referrals and patient reviews.
