About Advocacy for Disability Access and Inclusion
Advocacy for Disability Access and Inclusion (ADAI) is a not-for-profit, independent, community-based organisation providing free, professional, & confidential advocacy support to people living with disability, their families & carers across South Australia. With over 35 years of experience, ADAI has a proud history of standing alongside individuals and families to improve rights, inclusion, and wellbeing, we offer short-term, issue-specific advocacy to help individuals navigate services, resolve concerns, and uphold their rights. Our services include things like: support with the NDIS, navigating complex systems, housing, education, employment, health, referrals & access to essential services. ADAI also offers a range of interactive, accessible and free workshops, designed to build knowledge, confidence & capacity, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and empower people with disability. These sessions explore real-life issues such as navigating services, self-advocacy skills, budgeting 101, skills for employment, mental health & wellbeing, and more. Our workshops are always tailored to the needs of attendees and delivered in a supportive, inclusive and accessible environment.
