About AE Superlab.

AE Superlab is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio based in Brooklyn, New York, working at the intersection of art, engineering, and emerging technology. Founded by architect Ahmed ElHusseiny, our studio operates with an international perspective and a commitment to design excellence across a wide range of typologies and scales. We specialize in projects that blend innovation and craft—spanning from AIA award-winning residences and commercial interiors, to medical sensing devices, urban-scale kinetic sculptures, and renewable energy infrastructure. Recent work includes the Maverick Real Estate Partners headquarters at 330 Madison Avenue, which was honored with a 2025 Architectural Record Interiors Award. Other notable projects include the C+S House, One Kings Lane HQ in NYC, the Diwani Chair, and the Inspiren health monitoring system. AE Superlab is a design-driven, technology-native practice. Our approach is rooted in continuous research, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a nimble engagement with emerging tools and methods. We maintain a robust network of creative partners and advisors, enabling us to develop solutions that are both technically rigorous and conceptually bold. Founder Ahmed ElHusseiny brings over two decades of global experience, including leadership roles at Kohn Pedersen Fox, where he contributed to major projects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
