About AEGEE-León
AEGEE-León (www.aegeeleon.org) is a Spanish student organisation that promotes cooperation, communication and integration among young people all over Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent and non-profit organisation, AEGEE-León is open to all the students and young people from all kind of studies and areas of interest. AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe / European Students’ Forum) is a student organisation that promotes co-operation, communication and integration amongst young people in Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, secular and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines – today it counts 13.000 members, active in more than 200 university cities in 40 European countries, making it the biggest interdisciplinary student association in Europe. We were founded on August of 2003 and we have reached 200 members, we are actively collaborating with the International Relations Office of the University of León organizing all kind of activities (informal meetings, dinners, trips, language meetings...etc) for the exchange students of Erasmus and Amicus Program of University of León.
