About Aeroflex Hose and Engineering
Aeroflex holds long-term contracts with a number of gas producers and equipment manufacturers worldwide. With the gas business moving up the global agenda, our international export in this industry continues to increase. Products Aeroflex has developed an extensive range of industrial gas hose products ranging from 750 bar hydrogen and 420 bar oxygen hoses to cryogenic hoses for liquid transfer. • PTFE Hoses Aeroflex has developed an extensive range of high pressure PTFE lined hose assemblies for conveying high-pressure gases. Applications include the charging of industrial and medical cylinders for a variety of gases including oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene and carbon dioxide. Hose assemblies are individually engineered to include special end fittings and safety features such as anti-whip cable restraints. Other specific PTFE product developments include gas manifold filing assemblies, used for coupling cylinders into banks with automatic changeover facilities and small bore hoses on self-contained breathing sets for use by fire brigades, refineries and dockyards. For applications where space is at a premium or there is a requirement for high flexing rates, Aeroflex have a range of convoluted PTFE hoses which are lightweight and extremely flexible. • Flexible Metallic Hoses The PTFE range is complimented by a series of corrugated stainless steel hoses designed to convey highly corrosive substances, high purity products and cryogenics. We provide hoses for any industrial gas application, including medical and specific gas products. In addition, we are a partner of iGas Technology Solutions, a firm which offers its own packaged solutions for cylinder filling of industrial, medical and special gases.
