Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC is a public-private partnership, privately held company, and limited liability company that operates and manages the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) on behalf of the Puerto Rico Ports Authority. Aerostar has a forty-year lease to operate, manage and upgrade the airport. SJU handles over 13 million passengers per year with over 30 airlines, and it is the island's main air cargo hub. In addition, SJU is the largest airport in Puerto Rico and serves as the island's primary international gateway and connection to the rest of the region, primarily the continental United States.
