About AFIM

AFIM was established in 1971 in Milan on Sergio and Silvana Di Gregorio’s initiative, and their son Marco now helms the firm. The company markets the ranges by the European leader in fastener production, Beneri SpA. Since its outset, AFIM has preferred to operate in supplying large- and medium-scale retailers, and is able to ensure its clients always obtain the best prices and availability on Beneri articles, which are 100% made in Italy. We now also have an active programme to select certified manufacturers ‒ both Italian and international ‒ and this enables us to offer an ever greater product range, allowing us (in keeping with our founding aims and intent) to become ‘distributor to the distributors’. The firm is the exclusive Italian distributor for Borrelly products and supplies Spirol elastic pins. The year 2018 saw the opening of a new warehouse alongside the company’s time-honoured premises in Via Breda. This addition is exclusively for storing stainless steel screws and bolts, and stocks one of the broadest ranges available on the market. In 2019 we set up the Bespoke Lab, which pivots on providing fine-tuning and made-to-measure items, with the goal of becoming the partner of reference also for customised products. Successfully expanding while also preserving the features of a small-sized company has enabled us to offer personalised service to our 3834 clients (with over 500 of these based outside Italy), customers that we know one by one and whose needs we respond to individually.
