About AFM Heatsheets

AFM's three business segments share a common technology, based on the reflective insulation material developed by NASA for the US space program. This material channels radiant energy from various sources (body heat, sunlight) to either warm or cool people, places, and things. Heatsheets® Events Products: We supply virtually all the major long distances road races and triathlons in the US with printed and/or plain Heatsheets® plastic blankets for finish lines, aid stations, and VIP areas. We've been the "go-to" company for branded finish line blankets since 1980, when they were used by the New York City Marathon. Outdoor/Adventure Products: We have a long-term partnership with Adventure Medical Kits (AMK), who is a major supplier of wilderness, medical, and survival products for the adventure, outdoor market. We manufacture all 4 of the products in AMK's Emergency Essentials product line, which they distribute for sale to outdoor giants such as REI, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Any Mountain, Sport's Chalet, and Ramsey Outdoor. OEM Suppliers of Clothing and Bedding: We manufacture Silver Lining™, a highly effective, ultra-thin thermo-reflective material for stand-alone products, and components for garments like mittens/gloves, vests, jackets, parkas, sleeping bags, and bedding -- all designed to keep users warm and dry -- from bivvys for use as emergency sleeping bags to a "non-electric" blanket used to keep users warm in bed without bulky covers or electric blankets.
