About African Students' Association of Concordia (ASAC)
The African Student Association of Concordia (ASAC) is a student-led cultural organization representing African culture at Concordia University in Montreal. Our mission is to enable Concordians to discover and explore African cultures. We exist to serve two main purposes. First, we seek to provide a home away from home to Concordians of African descent. Secondly, we hope to give non-African students the opportunity to learn about the fifty-four nations we represent and their cultures. Through academically driven events and ecstatic social gatherings, ASAC seeks to bestow upon the Concordia student body the essence of African cultures.
