Afros & Audio is a platform created for and by Black podcast creatives and audio professionals. Since 2019, we’ve hosted a multi-day annual conference that brings together independent podcasters, audio professionals, and industry leaders to address challenges, foster collaboration, and create actionable solutions for lasting change. But we are more than just a conference—we are a year-round community and movement dedicated to empowering Black voices in podcasting and audio storytelling. Our mission extends beyond conversations about diversity and inclusion. Afros & Audio is committed to creating opportunities, resources, and networks that equip Black creators to build sustainable careers in podcasting.
