About After Cancer: Solutions for Sexual Health
After Cancer - Solutions for Sexual Health is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to advocating for patients facing sexual health challenges during their cancer journey. Our journey began with a focus on patient coaching, but it quickly became evident that a significant need existed for educating healthcare providers as well. Recognizing this gap, we initiated a collaborative effort with clinicians and experts from across the nation, all united by a shared mission: to enhance the awareness of oncology healthcare providers regarding the sexual health concerns of their patients. With generous support from the Iowa Cancer Consortium, CSSH developed the All of Me Project, a comprehensive training program designed for nurses, physicians, and other oncology care providers. Our offerings encompass a variety of formats, from easily accessible online resources to immersive in-person training sessions. These sessions range from concise 90-minute workshops to a comprehensive Sexual Health Specialist accredited course tailored for Advanced Practice Providers. Also included are educational handouts for patients. In addition to our existing educational initiatives, After Cancer – Solutions for Sexual Health proudly extends its reach by offering a range of customized public speaking services. These engagements feature Erin Sullivan Wagner, our dedicated Executive Director, who passionately shares insights and expertise on the intersection of cancer and sexual health.
