Age Wisdom® is a UK based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to programmes aiming to improve all aspects of our modern lifestyles. Our aim is to ensure "wellbeing" in today's society through the provision of practical information, education, training and positive support to help everyone achieve a long and happy life. Our vision is simple: prevent the preventable; pre-empt the pitfalls of life by addressing the root causes. Two main activities 1) Age Wisdom’s Healthy Lifestyle Workforce Plan (for companies) Today, many organisations feel they are facing two competing pressures in the workplace: a- Feel that they must achieve more output, more efficiently, with the same or less resource. b- Feel that they have to maintain engagement and health in their workforce at a time when chronic physical illness and mental health issues among employees are set to get worse as the workforce ages. In response to these evidence-based and growing concerns, we have designed the Age Wisdom’s Healthy Lifestyle Workforce Plan to help employers put in place or explore/adhere to the existing strategy and range of benefits to prevent sickness absence to mention but one, even where budgets may be limited. 2) Age Wisdom's 4 level licensed online prevention programme.(for communities) working towards a national network of Age Wisdom’s Prevention Guides, Experts, Leaders and Ambassadors working for and within their communities. catalysts for positive, lasting change in our society.
