The Agency for Instructional Technology has been a leader in educational technology since 1962. A nonprofit organization, AIT is one of the largest providers of instructional TV programs in North America. AIT is also a leading developer of other educational media, including: online instruction; CDs; DVDs; instructional software. The Agency for Instructional Technology (AIT) is based in Bloomington, Indiana, with nearly five decades of expertise in the cooperative development, production, and distribution of instructional media. AIT maintains extensive warehousing and distribution systems, a complete customer service center, DVD authoring capacity, a bulk mailing facility, as well as graphic designers, copywriters and instructional designers skilled in creating materials that serve K-12 schools. For over 50 years, the Agency for Instructional Technology (AIT) has had as its sole mission the production and distribution of educational media. AIT has continued to fulfill that mission as education needs, production methods, distribution mediums, and technology have changed―and leads the industry in innovative ways to serve education through media.
