About AgraTek
Solutions, Sensors, and Systems for Irrigation, Water Resource Management, and Groundwater pollution avoidance. AgraTek's revolutionary SafeSoil(TM) System has been scientifically-proven by the USDA to be far superior to Sampling Wells for early detection of leaks from wastewater containment ponds. Early detection of leaks enables wastewater producers to be more proactive in their efforts to manage wastewater and groundwater pollution. Applications include animal feedyards, dairies, industrial and mining sites, and many other producers of contaminated wastewater. IRRIGATION CONTROL is rapidly moving away from simple manual, "timer-based" systems, typical of most products sold today. This trend is driven by scarcity of water and increased cost of electricity needed for pumping water. At the same time, many prime agricultural regions are subject to strict limits on water use and increased vigilance by authorities who enforce water rights. Consequently, commercial growers are looking to reduce costs and improve efficiency of water use by installing systems that monitor soil moisture, forecast soil moisture loss based on wind, temperature, humidity, and forecast weather conditions . WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICTS are state and regional authorities that manage water distribution and enforce water usage limits. High labor costs are forcing these organizations to reduce the work force at a time when even more water use monitoring is needed. AgraTek systems pay for themselves by the savings realized through more efficient use of personnel, while reducing the need to travel to remote locations to manually observe water consumption. AgraTek has developed a family of wireless, solar-powered remote control and monitoring systems specifically for these markets. The products feature: low installation cost, ease of use, and ability to expand the system later as needs change.
