The Association of Group Travel Organisers (AGTO) is an independent organisation representing the interests of those who organise tours and trips for groups, our Group Travel Organisers (GTO's) as well as those who provide services for group travel organisers and is the UK’s largest and longest established, independent membership organisation. Established in 1991, we pride ourselves on supporting and representing at all levels the interests of individuals who organise travel for groups. With over 400 organisers representing more than 200,000 potential visitors our services include bespoke organiser liability insurance, legal updates, an advice line, VIP registration to trade shows, free membership of the National Trust, free entry to English Heritage and National Trust for Scotland properties, and a range of other discounts and offers. The Association also has over 200 supplier members that provide GTO's with everything from tours, hotels and destinations to museums, galleries, gardens and attractions. In fact everything a GTO needs to help in organising day trips, overnights, short haul or long haul excursions as well as offering exclusive fam trips and educationals. Additionally AGTO work with the Trade Press, including monthly columns, other Trade Associations and Trade shows and events with AGTO presentations at many of these events.
