Nothing surpasses the greatness or dignity of a human person.” — Saint John Paul II OUR MISSION Founded in 1978, Aid for Women helps thousands of women each year in the Chicago metropolitan area who find themselves facing unexpected pregnancies. Each woman is provided with the emotional, practical and spiritual support she needs to choose life for her unborn baby and to provide a better future for herself and her children. Our life-affirming services are offered free-of-charge and include: - 24/7 Phone and Text Helplines - One-on-One Counseling - Pregnancy Tests and Ultrasounds - Abortion Pill Reversal - Earn While You Learn Mentor Program - Support Groups - Medical and Community Referrals - Residential Programs for Pregnant Women, Mothers and Their Children Aid for Women operates four pregnancy care centers and two residential programs. Aid for Women is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by private contributions. We receive no government funding.
