About AIGA San Diego State University
Designing a Better Future for San Diego and San Diego State University. One of our goals of this club is to prep students for life after university. We attempt to give students opportunities and experiences that are diverse and can broaden everybody’s skill set. We want to introduce the students to as many different aspects related to graphic design that we can, whether it be getting freelancers to come speak or arranging studio tours. Our “Professional Practices” series aims to give our designers advice for their future careers. In the past, we have held also events to teach students different design tools that they could apply to create unique projects. It’s important to us that we help these students become strong and well-rounded designers. We are always open to new event ideas and we try to get speakers and workshops that students are interested in.
