About AIGA Wisconsin
AIGA, the professional association for design, is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice. Founded as the American Institute of Graphic Arts in 1914, AIGA is the oldest and largest membership association for professionals engaged in the discipline, practice and culture of designing. The Wisconsin chapter, revived in autumn of 2008, represents professionals and students throughout the state of Wisconsin, connecting them to more than 22,000 members nationwide. Our chapter's mission is threefold: :: Connect :: To connect designers to one another, to business and to the broader world. :: Inspire :: To inspire designers, helping them to realize their talents and to advocate the value of design. :: Engage :: To engage designers by stimulating thinking, promoting design excellence, and producing events that educate and inspire. We seek active participation by individuals through membership in the organization, involvement on committees, and volunteering at events. For more information, please contact our membership chair at membership@wisconsin.aiga.org.
