He is the Delaware chairperson for the Maxwell Football Club and also officiates at high school and league basketball games in Delaware and northern Maryland. He is a college football referee/official in various conferences, and also officiates high school and league football games in Delaware and northern Maryland. Ed resides in Wilmington, Delaware.
