About Air Force Regional Training Center
We believe that the future leaders of tomorrow are forged in athletic competition today. If you also believe in the value of athletics, and specifically wrestling, in the development of tomorrows warrior-leaders, we have a great opportunity for you. The AFRTC is a leadership and developmental training center that inspires discipline, integrity, accountability, selflessness, attention to detail, toughness, and hard work. It is an extension of the U.S. Air Force Academy's commitment to excellence. The AFRTC has been recognized by USA Wrestling as an Olympic Regional Training Center. The AFRTC's focuses on developing elite athletes into All-American, National, World and Olympic champions while breeding C-Level leadership, professionalism, management and people skills all in a single training complex. The training facility is housed on the prestigious grounds of the United States Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, neighboring the world renowned U.S. Olympic Training Center. The AFRTC candidates come from the United States Air Force Academy, (a NCAA Division I institution in the Big 12 Conference), the United States Air Force Preparatory School and the U.S. Olympic Training Center. All AFRTC participants benefit from an elite level of athletic training and leadership development in a culture of inclusion and respect in order to instill a humble warrior ethos in training, competing and leading at the highest levels. To train at this level, we provide sustained funding for this Olympic-class facility, a full time coach Dustin Kilgore, support staff, high-level training, competition, and development opportunities all through donations. The AFRTC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for tax deduction donations. We are looking for small, medium and legacy donors who see the value in the AFRTC's focus to build leaders and changing lives.
