About Air-Glaciers
Founded in 1965, Air-Glaciers was born out of the desire of one man, Bruno Bagnoud, to put the resources to save lives whatever the conditions. Today, thousands of people carry the Air Glaciers rescue card and trust the experience of our pilots in case of problems. As early as 1965, Bruno Bagnoud, seconded by Hermann Geiger, who was primarily in charge of flight operations, made Air Glaciers an out-of-the-ordinary airline. Today, there are six bases throughout Switzerland from which our experienced crews depart to carry out rescues of course, but also to carry out flights for wildlife vaccinations, photography or filming, sightseeing flights over the Alps, etc. Air-Glaciers is much more than just an aviation company, it is a family of passionate people who save lives and participate in the life in the Alps.
