Air Power Products Limited was founded in 1980. The company started as a distributor for air compressors, compressed air dryers, blowers and vacuum pumps. In 1981, we started assembling small air compressors, mostly for the fire protection industry. Our major customers in that industry who began purchasing from us back at that time, are still customers today. In 1983, APPL built our first twintower heatless desiccant air dryer. Over the years our dryer product line has evolved to include heated blower purge models, and control systems including our highly efficient "Purge Economizer Control$" which is a dew point-based control system for both new dryers and as retrofit panels for competitive models. Dew Point monitors for stand-alone applications are also manufactured by APPL. Regenerative blowers which have been a major product line for us since inception. APPL carries inventory of several hundred regenerative blower in both single and 2-stage models, and in varying voltages, which are readily available for shipment to any location in North America and beyond. In the early 2000's, APPL became a stocking distributor for Swan oil-less air compressors, and today carries a large inventory of pumps for quick delivery of systems for pharmaceutical, laboratory, food processing, and medical systems. We have in-house design capability for all systems including electrical control systems for customized requirements. Also included in our product line are lubricated and oil-less vacuum pumps for incorporation into design built systems. Rotary lobe blowers were added to our product line in 2005 to complement our offering of regenerative blowers.
