About Ajarn Academy
In this fast-paced world, you need your business to move at the speed of trust! Declare war on bad meetings and mediocre culture to achieve the results you’re looking for. The best competitive advantage is to be a healthy organization filled with vulnerability-based TRUST, productive conflict, and outstanding Leadership. At Ajarn Academy, we teach, train, consult and advise leaders of all kinds to become the leaders they wish they had, and how to build teams with this greatest advantage of organizational health. Ajarn Academy is an organizational training and leadership development company founded by Mark Caldwell (a.k.a. AjarnMark) in 2018. Mark is a certified facilitator of Patrick Lencioni's Six Types of Working Genius, as well as a certified speaker, trainer and coach with the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. With over 30 years of experience in the IT sector, Mark has experienced a variety of management styles, egos, and challenges, not just in the companies he has worked for, but observing the styles of others as well. In late 2007, shortly after taking the role of Software Development Manager for a company, and being put in the uncomfortable position of having to conduct layoffs of members of his new team, Mark vowed to find a better way. Or as Simon Sinek puts it, "become the leader you wish you had" and the leader that his team wished they had. This set Mark on a journey of self-discovery and both personal and professional development. Several years later, Mark is now an outspoken advocate for integrity and authenticity in leadership, good organizational health practices, and the strengths of #RemoteWork teams.
