We have over 6 million pets of 35 species enrolled in our recovery service. AKC Reunite was founded by The American Kennel Club in 1995 as AKC Companion Animal Recovery, and we are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Microchips: AKC Reunite is committed to Pet Identification, specifically ensuring pets have 2 forms of ID, a tag and a microchip, to aid in their quick identification and return home should they get lost. We sell microchips to vets, shelters, rescues and breeders with tailored programs to fit their needs.
