About AKD
AKD d.o.o. is a Croatian strategic IT and manufacturing company who has been producing personal ID cards, passports, visas, driving licenses and other high-security printing products for more than 30 years. Moreover, AKD is delivering to the local and international market advanced IT solutions in the area of identity and security and it is also been providing services to the banking sector. AKD is appointed as the ID trusted service provider for the Croatian national ID project, that provides services of issuing qualified certificates to the citizens of the Republic of Croatia on electronic ID cards. Project portfolio of our company is based on continually developed and upgraded IT solutions for the management of electronic identities of citizens in different fields of businesses – governmental, healthcare, transportation, corporate, banking, and other more specific branches. Some of the current AKD’s developmental projects are eSign, mSign, Time Stamp (QTSA) solutions, various solutions based on e-ID card and on other related IT solutions, development and upgrade of our own PKI infrastructure, issuing of commercial qualified certificates for businesses, projects designed for digital transformation of public services and European directives requirements fulfillment. In addition, AKD as a part of the governmental infrastructure has also been involved in strategic governmental projects focused on digitalization of business processes.
