Founded by George Ostich in 1950, the Ostich family continues ownership of the Foundry under the stewardship of Mike Ostich, George’s son, and Mike Pancoe, Jr., George’s grandson. Mike Pancoe, Sr., George’s Son In-Law, oversees Akron Electric, Inc. With over 170,000 sq feet of Foundry space, AFC is capable of handling the myriad of application and product requests it fields on a yearly basis. Buoyed by its banner line of Breakaway T-Bases, the Akron Foundry Company is the preferred source for American-owned, American-made cast aluminum products in the United States.
