ALGERNON SCOTT, is a lead certified paint contractor who has been in the residential and commercial painting business for approximately 20 years. A native of Virginia, Algernon moved to Marlborough, MA at the age of 18 and entered the paint contracting business just two years later. After three years in the trade, Algernon became the Lead Foreman of a very successful contracting business in the Marlborough area. Dedicated to perfecting his craft and prowess with a brush, Algernon took the next 11 years to build an impressive database of very satisfied customers. In 2011, Algernon left Edwardson Painting to venture out on his own. With no investors aside from his wife, Algernon toiled over the druthers of creating a business from the ground up. Finally, in July of 2012, he officially launched Al the Painter, LLC, a lucrative small business. As a lead certified paint contractor, Algernon has the ability to encapsulate any interior lead updating. For exterior work, Algernon is certified in lead removal and encapsulation toward applying new paint in lead driven areas. Additionally, Algernon has first hand experience in working with other founders and operators of start-up businesses. Al the Painter, LLC is a painting contractor business serving the Boston, Metro West Boston and surrounding areas as a company for the past five years.
