Alacrity Mexico was created in association with Wesley Clover, an investment management and holding company based in Canada founded by serial technology entrepreneur, Sir Terry Matthews. The Alacrity global technology start-up ecosystem utilizes a proven methodology based on Wesley Clover’s approach to building companies globally. The proven model has been established in Canada, Wales UK, Lille France, Pune India, Istanbul Turkey and Mexico. It is also being introduced into Singapore, Jakarta Indonesia, Vienna Austria and Shanghai China. The primary objective of Alacrity Mexico is to invest in idea stage opportunities in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry, co-creating companies alongside talented entrepreneurs (Founders) and develop them into successful portfolio companies. We position our portfolio companies to supply solutions via strategic partners who are large technology vendors or service providers globally who agree at the onset to work with our portfolio companies during product conception, and onward as they become seed‐stage investments. Our model allows us to address a specific target market need from within our network of companies, providing advantages through experienced mentorship, established channels to market and specific client opportunities and relationships. Moreover, we have access to the Wesley Clover and Alacrity Global Intellectual Property, allowing us to reduce time to market of our portfolio companies and accelerate the speed at which they become revenue generating firms.
