About Alaska Gateway School District
Alaska Gateway School District is located in the surrounding areas of Tok, Alaska in the Alaskan interior. Alaska Gateway Schools are all on the road system although Eagle School is only accessible by plane in the winter months! We have a large commercial greenhouse where we we grow vegetables and biomass plant for heating. We believe in sustainability and creating global citizens. Last year we sent some of our students to the Galapagos Islands! We are truly a dynamic P-12 school system. Our students are actively involved in sports such as basketball and hockey, and we maintain cultural arts programs where our students participate in local cultural activities such as fishing, moose days, dog mushing, and berry picking.
