About Alaska SHRM State Council

We represent the Alaska SHRM State Council, a distinguished affiliate of the esteemed Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Our purpose is to serve as a conduit for communication among the SHRM organization, its members, affiliated chapters, and fellow organizations within the SHRM network. Annually, we orchestrate a state HR conference and extend our support to numerous Alaskan HR professionals, HR students, and business leaders. At the heart of our mission is the commitment to fostering synergies among the Northwest Human Resources Management Association (NHRMA), all SHRM-affiliated chapters throughout the state, and all SHRM-affiliated Student Chapters in Alaska. This collaborative approach aims to enhance our ability to cater to the diverse needs of over 900 HR professionals within the State.
