Our motivation to organize and work together came from our personal, family and professional experiences, as well as our passion for helping the American - Albanian community and informing them about the importance of preventing and treating cancer. Unfortunately, even here in the USA where information, care and health are the best in the world, for many Albanians the word “cancer” is still taboo. Many still suffer from a lack of or the fear of knowing, being tested and preventing this disease. Many still suffer and die in silence!
