Our mission is to inspire and empower wildlife professionals to engage in science-based management and conservation of wild animals and their habitats. We bring wildlife professionals together through networking events, provide various opportunities to share current research, participate in various multi-stakeholder groups discussing land and wildlife management, and support students with scholarships and grants. Our members span the province and work with all aspects of wildlife and habitat management issues across Alberta. We value science-based decision making and advocate for the application of current, robust wildlife and habitat science in planning and management.
