We are an award-winning Pre-Prep and Prep School for ages 4-13 in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. In September 2025, we began our move to co-education, welcoming girls into the Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). It's the same Aldwickbury ethos, but with an exciting new chapter. Where everyone can be free-range, together. At Aldwickbury, we believe every child has greatness within. It’s our mission to ignite their passion and create the freedom that allows them to find their individual greatness. We achieve this through providing a holistic education that fosters academic success, where we encourage pupils to embrace challenges, be themselves and most importantly, to be kind. Located in Harpenden, we are just 10 minutes from local towns and cities in Hertfordshire, including St Albans, Welwyn, Redbourn and Wheathampstead. We are set within 20 acres of expansive grounds with exceptional facilities that enrich every part of the curriculum. Including a dedicated STEM Hub, AstroTurf pitches, a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art Sports Hall. In September 2026, we will be opening a Nursery for children aged 3 – 4 years-old. This will give boys and girls the opportunity to begin their Aldwickbury journey a year earlier, helping them to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning from the very start.
