Hello! My name is Alex Miotke and I have lived in Spokane, Washington my entire life. I have always loved Spokane and the surrounding areas, and I intend on living here for the foreseeable future with my amazing wife Brittany and two young children Dean and Sam. The biggest reason that I love it here is that I have met and established relationships with so many wonderful people. The people here have provided me so much support and guidance throughout my life, and I want to contribute back to the community in a positive way. I thought a good way to accomplish this is to start a bookkeeping business as I can provide a valuable service that every business owner can benefit from while also focusing on spending the time with my family that they deserve. The fulfillment I get from helping others be successful and spending time with my family is immeasurable. Prior to starting my own bookkeeping business, my career was based in a heavily regulated industry where precise attention to detail and compliance are imperative. I want to utilize these foundational skills that I have developed and mastered in the world of bookkeeping and finances to ensure business owners have accurate books and understand where their cash is going. The less business owners have to focus on their own books, the more time they can spend working specifically on their business, seeing their family, and/or doing whatever it is that provides them joy and fulfillment. Additionally, the better business owners understand their business finances and what their cash flow looks like, the better they can make informed decisions to increase value within their company. This again allows more flexibility to do the things that bring them joy and fulfillment, which is invaluable.
