The company was started when the founder realized there was very limited options for children's accessories, and the ones commercially available lacked individuality. She wanted unique and well made items that could be used for every occasion, so she started making her own. After making them for her own children, and receiving countless compliments and inquires as to the manufacturer, she decided to start Alexandra Michael Children's Company. The uniqueness of the company is not only in the products offered, but it is also a business started by a woman with unique experiences.
